“As a church, we wish to take our share in fulfilling the purposes of God in His world. This means for us a joyful commitment of our time and money to our local community and its needs, especially its needs of the Gospel. It also means a commitment to a needy world through cross-cultural mission work which we intend to discharge by prayer, gifts and sending of our people.”
 

This also involves looking beyond our local environment to the global community with its vast need. We strive to serve the greater world through cross-cultural mission work which means our engagement in prayer, the sending of gifts and of people.

We have a Missionary Action Team who keep us informed about our own Missionaries situations as well as about Global Mission to help us to pray more effectively.  We also have a Mission Focus one Sunday a month.

We encourage all, whatever age to engage in action at home and abroad. For two years a group from the YF & YC went to Spain for a time of relaxation and learning more about God. We have recently planned trips to Spain & North Africa. There wass also a youth mission trip to Spain at Easter in 2012.  You can read all about it in the latest copy of Finaghy Family News.  FFN May 2012.
