Neighbourhood Spot
We would love to welcome you to our Neighbourhood Spot. We seek to provide a meeting place in a friendly atmosphere for babies, small children and you - the person who cares for them. We meet as a group every Tuesday morning (term time) from 10.30a.m. - 12 noon. It is a chance to relax, get to know others, have a cup of tea or coffee and chat, while the children play with a variety of toys.
Our mornings are divided into two parts. We begin in a room where babies can be stimulated with small toys and toddlers can play with table top toys. Both carers and children have a snack during this time and we end off with a 'Songs and Rhyme Time' during which the children can play instruments.
Following this we move into our Large Hall where there are different table top activities, sit & ride toys along with a slide, trampoline and see-saw. We also have dressing up clothes and some weeks throughout the year we do a topical craft.
In addition to our daytime activities we have a couple of evenings during the year for the adults, one - a special Christmas Evening and the other – a May Dinner.
You will be warmly welcomed by a caring and friendly team who prayerfully engage in this work as we seek to be a relevant part of our local community.
